Mark J. Kelley, 62 of Pelham, NH passed away after a short illness at the Merrimack Valley High Point Hospice House in Haverhill, MA on November 17, 2017 surrounded by his family and friends.

He is survived by his son Tyler Kelley of Salem, NH, Tyler’s mother Kelly Buckley of Boston, MA,  long-term companion Pamela Swinimer and her daughter Olivia of Nashua, NH and their dog Cody, siblings Thomas Kelley and his wife Penny of Atkinson, NH, Paula Kelleher of Lawrence, MA, Guy (Terry) Kelley of Lawrence, MA, Penelope Bardsley and husband Raymond of Byfield, MA, David Kelley and wife Diana of Haverhill, MA, Lou Anne Griffiths and husband John of Merrimac, MA, and  Andrew Kelley and his wife Teresa of Andover, MA and several nieces and nephews.

Mark was born on February 25, 1955 in Lawrence, MA, the son of Guy and Mary Kelley. He graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1973. He worked for several years in the flooring industry, the past 16 years as manager of the W. J. Grosvenor & Co branch in Woburn, MA. He was lead singer and guitarist for several bands including The Flaherty Brothers, Roads, Beyond the Pale and the OUPPOLS.  He also performed with The Garrett Players and played the role of Jesus in Pentucket Players production of Jesus Christ Superstar.

Mark was incredibly proud of his son Tyler, they spent time together whenever possible, especially during his illness.  Besides Tyler, Pam, Olivia, Cody and Mark’s family and friends were a constant presence throughout his illness.

Calling hours are 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, November 25, 2017 at the Goundrey & Dewhirst Funeral Home, 42 Main St., Salem, NH. A Memorial service is scheduled immediately following at 5:00 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to High Point Hospice House, 360 North Ave., Haverhill, MA  01830.
