Joseph R. LeBoeuf, a longtime resident of Lawrence, passed away on January 2nd, 2016 in Providence, RI. He was born in Lawrence on November 26th, 1932 to the late Edward and Antoinette LeBoeuf, and lived there until 1996 when he moved to Las Vegas, NV. He currently resided in Attleboro, MA.

Joseph served in the Navy from 1952 to 1956. After returning, he worked as a manager at Mercury Shoe Service in North Andover, was the proprietor of J&E Shoe repair in Lawrence, and retired from Lawrence Pump in Lawrence as a machinist. He was a member of the Elks lodge and the LaSalle Club in Lawrence.

Joseph is survived by his wife Edna (MacLean) LeBoeuf; his children William and daughter-in-law Denise LeBoeuf, Karen and son-in-law Barry Clarke, Joseph and daughter-in-law Laura LeBoeuf, and Michael LeBoeuf; his sister Doris Hebert of Salem, NH; his brothers Raymond LeBoeuf of Windham, NH, and Robert LeBoeuf and his wife Estelle, as well as 8 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends may call on Thursday, January 7th from 9 to 11am at the Goundrey and Dewhirst Funeral Home, 42 Main Street, Salem, NH 03079. A funeral service will follow at 11am in the funeral home chapel.
