Joseph R. “Bob” Houle, 71, of Salem, NH died on Saturday February 7, 2015 at Methuen Health & Rehabilitation Center. Mr. Houle was born in Salem, NH and was raised and educated in Lawrence. 

Before retirement, Bob worked as a truck driver for Donabedian Brothers of Salem, NH. He enjoyed camping and fishing at Bow Lake during the summer months. Bob especially loved hunting trips with his 3 sons.

His family members include his wife, Jane M. (Chaisson) Houle and his sons, Jeffrey R. and his wife, Michelle Houle, James F. and his wife, Sandra Houle and Jonathan T. and his wife, Nicole Houle. He leaves his brother, Ronald Houle and his companion Carol and his sisters, Linda D. Moquin and Lois and her husband, Roland Therrien. Bob also leaves his grandchildren, Amy and her husband, Benjamin Deprey, Erin Houle, Sophia Tellier, Olivia Houle, Robert Houle, Steven Judkins and Phoenix Leger as well as several nieces and nephews. Bob was pre-deceased by his sister, Laureen Holland.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Thursday February 12, 2015 from 4 to 6 pm at The Goundrey & Dewhirst Funeral Home, 42 Main Street, Salem, NH.
