Henry A. “Hank” Mulvey, 83, of Methuen passed away on Monday September 28, 2015 at his home.  Mr. Mulvey was born, raised and educated in Lawrence and has lived in Methuen for the past 63 years.  Before retirement, he worked at Bolta Tire and Rubber Company of Lawrence and also worked at Textron of Wilmington.  Hank enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and watching their basketball games and was especially fond of his friends at Holy Family Hospital Rehab.

His family members include his wife, Shirley B. (Heywood) Mulvey of Methuen and his daughter, Ellen M. Thibault of Methuen.  He leaves his granddaughters, Jessica and her husband, Michael DiMario of Lawrence, Tracy and her husband, Grant Puzniak of Methuen and Jodi Thibault of Haverhill. He also leaves his brothers, William A. and his wife, Judy Mulvey of Rye, NH, Thomas A. and his wife, Diane Mulvey of Clearwater, FL. And James A. and his wife, Binny Mulvey of Rye, NH. As well as a sister, Cathleen Mulvey and her husband, Sam Torrey of Alfred, ME. He leaves 8 great grandchildren, Bobbi, Grant, Jamie, Gerald, Ian, Vincent, John and Adam and 1 great great grandson, Adonis and several nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his sister, Susan O’Brien.

Calling hours will be on Friday October 2, 2015 from 10 to Noon at The Goundrey & Dewhirst Funeral Home, 42 Main Street, Salem, NH.  Funeral services will be at Noon on Friday at the funeral home.
