Gail N. Webster of Windham, NH formally of Somerville, MA, passed away peacefully Saturday, August 29, 2015.

Gail was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School and she later received her Associates Degree in Human Services from Castle College.  When not working for the Internal Revenue Service
She was an avid volunteer.  Serving for many years as a Windham Cemetery Trustee, Gail was also involved in the Town Recreation Department, Planning Board, Ladies Fire Auxiliary and Supervisor of the checklist.

From an early age Gail displayed a passion for sports.  Whether shagging line drives as a shortstop for the New England Champions Saint Ann's softball team, bowling perfect games, or calling into sports talk shows, she did things her way.  Whether she was in the stands at Fenway, coaching her son's little league team, or just watching her friend's kids run the bases, she was a fervent and vocal fan.

The eldest of eight children, she is preceded in passing by her parents, Lillian and William Murphy.  She is survived by her son Peter Webster, daughter in-law Shannon and grandson Xavier.  Gail also leaves four brothers, three sisters and many extended family and friends.
 
Calling hours will be on Tuesday September 1st, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at The Goundrey & Dewhirst Funeral Home 42 Main Street, Salem, NH. A Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, September 2nd at Saint Matthews Church, 2 Searles Road ,Windham,NH. Burial will be in Cemetery on the Hill,Windham followed by a gathering at Windham Bible Chapel, 14 Cobbetts Pond Road, Windham, NH.
