I worked with Diane for many years at Modicon-Gould-Schneider. She was a sweetheart. I am so sorry for your loss. She will be missed by all.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Always, always smiling and always such a kind person. I first met Diane when I went to visit her younger sister Maureen in Salem NH. Maureen and I were in grade school together at Fisk Elementary School. I remember that Diane helped us make ornaments for their family Christmas tree with paper and glue and glitter. I was fortunate that paths crossed again with Diane when she and I both worked at Gould-Modicon. And long after I left the company I would sometimes hear a voice in the grocery store, 'Hi Charleen' followed by her wonderful hug. You are all fortunate to haved shared her life as a mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, wife, or friend . Know you were blessed. Rest Peacefully Diane.

Dear Douglas and Derek,

We want to express our deepest condolences for the loss of your mother. I can't imagine what you're going through.
We have lost loved ones ourselves, and we know how painful it can be. We have found comfort in the following Biblical promise, found at Revelation 21:4:

"And he (God) will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away."

You are in our prayers.

Diane, you have been in my thoughts and prayers these past months. I am glad that our friend, Carol, got us back in touch and it was good to write and talk to you and recall happier times. I will continue to keep you in my prayers and although I know the pain and suffering for you has ended I will pray for your family and friends who are missing you dearly. God bless you and your family, Diane.

Diane was such a kind and loving person. She was so good to my mother (Louise Jones) - when mom lived in Florida and calling and sending notes when my mother moved back to Massachusetts. Diane's love for life will be missed! I will be making a donation to Hospice in her her memory. My condolences to the entire family.

My wonderful cousin. Even though we rarely saw each other, we managed to keep track of the Minahan/Murphy family by phone -- there are so few of us now. She will be missed so much by so many. My love and condolences to Dave, Mo, and Eddie.

Di was more like a sister then a cousin as was all the Murphy siblings. Diane was such a beautiful person and always had a smile and a kind word. Nancy and I would take many trips to Boynton to visit. The past couple of years we would call at least once a month. I am going to miss her immensely and send my condolences to Dave, Mo and Eddie!

Di....so many memories from age 13 to age 66....you were my dearest friend...being so far away for many years and then getting together a few months ago, seems like we picked up right where we left off! The love, the secrets, the friendship we shared was the best! Diane and I always shared a joke about walking up the hill on pumping station road...A nan walked by us and said "hard climbing isn't it". Being young And very silly we laughed about that til we cried for years! Well Di, it was very hard climbing for you this past year...but now just climb the stairway to heaven my friend and I will meet you there someday! Love you and that unforgettable smile murph!

I struggle to describe feelings as intangible as exuberance, but that is exactly what Nana embodied and contagiously passed on to those who knew her. Nana, I love you so much. Thank you for being my best friend.
