Arnold “Arnie” Louis Shorrock of Lakeville, MA passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at the family cottage on Millville Lake in Salem, NH.  He was born on June 14, 1944 in Coffeyville, KS to Ernest and Blanche Shorrock. He was raised in Needham, MA and attended Needham High School. Arnie graduated with honors from Rhode Island School of Design (B.A.), Boston State (B.A.) and Suffolk University (M.B.A.).  During the Vietnam era, he was a Lieutenant in the Navy Seabees. Arnie was an accomplished artist and architect in the Boston and Connecticut areas. He was the Project Manager for JFK/UMASS T-Station, Boston Postal Annex, Boston Garden Renovation Project and several local schools. He is survived by his four children, Christopher Shorrock and his husband, Marc Plourde, Kimberly Shorrock, Julianne Shorrock Irving and her husband, Michael Irving and Mikayla Shorrock Brosnan and her husband, John Brosnan. He also leaves his sister, Diane Shorrock St. Laurent and her husband, Paul St. Laurent as well as his two grandsons, Parker and Chase Irving. Arnie was a unique and passionate artist with many varied interests and hobbies. He loved fishing on Millville Lake, collecting sports memorabilia and was a huge Patriots and Red Sox fan.

Family and friends are invited to visiting hours on Sunday February 26, 2017 from 2 to 4 pm at The Goundrey & Dewhirst Funeral Home, 42 Main Street, Salem, NH. A family service and burial will be on Monday February 27 at 1:00 pm at Bannigan Chapel at St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket, Rhode Island.
