I am so very sorry for your loss. Please find comfort in God's sure promise of a resurrection as set forth in the Bible. (Consider Acts 24:15; John 5:28,29) Those who are raised to life will have the prospect of never again being subjected to misery, sickness, or death. (Revelation 21:4) I hope that reflecting on these thoughts will give you some relief during this difficult time.

John, from the moment we met you both, picking out cabinets for our new homes at Hawkims Glen, we knew what a special lady Alberta was. She had a keen, yet warm, sense of humor that made us feel as if we had know her for years. We felt that we would enjoy her wit on more than one occasion and that certainly was true. We feel privileged to have known her and will keep you and your family in our prayers. May God bless you all. Judi & Bob Habeeb

We were so saddened to hear of Alberta's passing. From the moment I met her in Andover, to coincidentally ending up neighbors in Hawkins Glen, we knew she was a very special lady. The love she showed her family and her extremely quick wit made her someone who stood out!!! We enjoyed our time spent as neighbors with both she and John and will keep the entire LaCreta family in our thought and prayers!!

Alberta brightened our Sunday mornings for many years at Mary Queen of Peace Church, especially with her sharp wit and lovable humor. She was so awesome when she came in and wanted to sit in her same pew at the back - constantly waving at us. We will miss her dearly as she definitely left an indelible impression on us and we were happy to know her. Our sincere sympathies and thoughts for John and family.

Our hearts ache at the loss of Alberta. She was the most loving and caring
Friend. Her thoughtfulness will long be remembered. Alberta would joke about us bring parochial girls, we had a lot of discussions on that subject and many laughs. She will be sadly missed . We feel Blessed to have known her. Our condolences to John and family whom she loved so much.

God creates a lot of wonderful people but the real blessing comes when He shares one of them with you. For Verna and I, being invited into Alberta's world of love, wit and heartfelt concern has been a blessing for us. Our world has been better to have had her and John as our neighbors for a dozen years and we will miss Alberta dearly. We regret that a long planned trip to Florida will prevent us from being at the Mass on Friday but as we travel, we will remember her for all the good times we shared. When we get back home to Mary Queen of Peace, we will once again pray for our dear friend in one of the places where her faith was so evident. May God bless her and John.
