Shirley D. Gotto

Shirley D. (Marks) Gotto, 91 passed away on September 18, 2020 at the Woburn Nursing Center in Woburn, MA. Mrs. Gotto was born on January 30, 1929 in East Boston, MA. to Walter and Jenny (Roy) Marks.  She was the loving wife of the late Frederick C. Gotto and the mother of the late Kevin Gotto and Wayne Gotto.  Shirley was also the sister of the late Leona Marks, Joseph Marks and Walter Marks.

Shirley’s family members include her daughter Gerri Simonelli and her husband Nick, John and his wife Sandra, Dennis and his wife Joanie and Darlene Marrone.  She was the loving grandmother to 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Shirley worked in retail at Sears at the Mall at Rockingham Park for many years. Her passion in her life was making people laugh and smile along with making memories for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and her many friends. She enjoyed golf for many years.  She loved birds, wildlife and life in General.
