Rodney Dore, Anne Dore, Lisana Alexander . Obituary

Rodney Joseph Dore
July 1, 1953 – November 24, 2024

With heavy hearts, we announce the heartbreaking passing of Rodney Joseph Dore, who left this world on November 24, 2024, alongside his beloved wife, Anne, and their cherished daughter, Lisana. At the age of 71, Rodney’s life was filled with love, loyalty, and boundless resourcefulness, leaving behind a legacy that will forever inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Born on July 1, 1953, in Lynn, Massachusetts, Rodney lived a life full of passion and purpose. As a Navy Veteran, he brought the same dedication and resourcefulness from his service to every aspect of his life. He was an accomplished white-water canoeist, navigating rapids with skill and courage, and a devoted golfer who found joy and camaraderie on the course. Rodney had a deep love for the outdoors, embracing the serenity of nature through camping adventures with family and friends. His remarkable ability to fix just about anything—whether it was a broken household item, a tricky mechanical problem, or even a difficult situation—was a testament to his ingenuity and determination.

Rodney’s deep loyalty to his lifelong friends and his steadfast devotion to his family defined his character. He nurtured relationships that spanned decades, always offering his time, a helping hand, or a kind word.

At the heart of Rodney’s life was his family. With his beloved wife, Anne Dore, he built a home filled with love and laughter. As a father, Rodney provided guidance, strength, and encouragement, always ready with advice or a creative solution. As a grandfather, he brought joy and warmth, creating memories that will be cherished forever.

Rodney is survived by his daughter, Rebecca Lanoue; his grandchildren, Jacob Lanoue, Deven Alexander, and Logan Alexander; his daughter-in-law Jaime; his son-in-law, Chris; his sisters, Elaine and Joan; his brother Bill; his extended family; and many dear friends. Rodney is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Anne, and their cherished daughter, Lisana, who heartbreakingly departed this world alongside him. He is also reunited with his dear brother, Jim Dore, and his loving parents, William and Jeanette Dore, whose guidance and love shaped the remarkable man he became.

Rodney Joseph Dore will be remembered as a man of many talents—an adventurer, a problem-solver, and a loyal friend. Though he has left us too soon, his legacy of love, laughter, and resourcefulness will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

“Daddy, Pepere, we love and you miss you so much”

Anne Justina Dore

With profound sadness, we announce the tragic passing of Anne Justina Dore, who left this world alongside her beloved husband, Rodney, and their cherished daughter, Lisana, on November 24, 2024. Anne’s life was a beacon of love, kindness, and creativity, touching all who had the privilege of knowing her.

“Mommy, Nonna, we love you and miss you with all our hearts”

Lisana Alexander (Dore) – Salem, NH

On Sunday, November 24th 2024, Lisana Alexander (Dore), devoted wife, mother, sister and daughter, tragically passed away at the age of 45.  Lisana was born February 20th, 1979 to Rodney and Anne Dore in Derry NH. Growing up in Pelham, she was the older sibling of Rebecca Lanoue (Dore).

Lisana started her schooling and became an alum of St. Joseph Regional Catholic school, before moving on to high school at the Presentation of Mary School, and college at The University of Tampa.

Passionate from a young age, Lisana’s love for the classroom grew as her years of education went on. Lisana later achieved her Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education and began her wonderful career teaching at the Lawrence Family Development Charter School. She was truly in love with her days teaching the “Wee little ones” at the Charter School before advancing her career to begin shaping the young minds of Lawrence Public Academy.

Lisana is survived by her husband Chris Alexander who loves her so much. Lisana and Chris met through a mutual friend (summer 2003), and as Chris and Lisana’s friendship grew, so did their infinite love. Chris and Lisana got married on July 28th, 2013 at Rye Harbor State Park and quickly ran off to enjoy the dreamiest of honey moons in the beautiful country of Belize, where they fell in love all over again. On July 1st, 2014 Lisana gave birth to their first child, Deven Christopher Alexander. Ironically, July 1st is a day that is also shared as a birthday to Rodney, Lisana’s father and Emma, Chris’ grandmother. July 1st is a day that is so special to many hearts. Four years later, on March 13th, 2018 Lisana gave birth at home to their second child, Logan John Alexander. Lisana and Chris became an overnight sensation, once the news caught wind that Lisana’s husband Chris had delivered Logan at home during a magical Northeastern Blizzard. The world will forever have evidence and footage of their love, happiness, and joy for each other. Both families, the Alexander’s and the Dore’s found so much joy in each other. Lisana had a smile and a laugh that was infectious to all.

Lisana leaves behind her husband Chris, her first son Deven, her second son Logan, her sister Rebecca, and her mother-in-law Nancy.

Lisana will forever be remembered, loved, and missed. “Deven and Logan love mom always”
