Rita Mae Wiggin – Salem, NH
Rita Mae Wiggin, 84, of Salem, daughter of predeceased, Leo and Marie Boisoneault of Woburn, MA and sister of Leo "Bud" Boisoneault of Laconia, NH, passed away after a brief illness on August 13, 2022. Rita was a loving mother and is survived by her 4 children, Robert Bartlett of Manchester, NH, Stephen Bartlett of Hopkinton, MA, Brian Wiggin and daughter-in Law Amy, of Manchester, NH and Karen German and son-in-law Paul of Windham, NH. Rita was a beloved grandmother to David and Amy Bartlett, Zack and Rachel German, and a great- grandmother to Finn Bartlett. Rita was surrounded by her loved ones including friends and family before her passing.
Rita was always an inspiration and touched everyone she knew, always willing to help anyone in need. She was a strong and loving woman with a strong zest for living a full life and had a great sense of humor. She had many hobbies and interests, including her love of country music, going to Bluegrass Festivals, camping, spending time with family and friends and ballroom dancing with her close friend, Ken Collins. And one thing that brought her joy most recently was just sitting on the back porch with Ken, watching the birds. One of her most enjoyed activities was playing cards and laughing with relatives and friends on Big Island Pond in Derry. Rita was so crafty. Her hobbies included making exquisite, handcrafted jewelry, gorgeous 3-D cards, and ceramics in her earlier days.
