Regina (Ruszczyk) Metivier, born July 27, 1938, in Lowell, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Friday June 19. 2026.
Born in Lowell, she was the beloved daughter of the late Dominick and Stella (Szymaszek) Ruszczyk and the dear sister of Bernadette Graff and wife of her late husband George Metivier.
Regina was employed at Tewksbury State Hospital, where she dedicated her time and talents in service to others.
A woman of deep faith, Regina was a parishioner of St. Joseph’s Parish in Salem NH. She enjoyed reading novels and, above all, cherished time spent with her family.
Regina was predeceased by her beloved daughter, Kathleen Maxwell. She is survived by her sons, Bruce Maxwell, Jr. and Brian Maxwell and his wife Colleen Maxwell, her stepchildren, Michael Metivier, Richard Metivier and his wife Robin Metivier and Robert Metivier and his wife Sheryl Metivier as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
There are no calling hours. Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM on Thursday June 25, 2026 at St Joseph Church, 40 Main St., Salem, NH.
