Philip Saulnier – Salem, NH
Philip Saulnier, 72 years old, of Salem NH passed away Monday, January 8, 2024 in the presence of his family at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, MA. Phil was born August 8th, 1951 in Methuen, MA. He was the beloved husband of Cynthia (Berk).
Philip’s family members include his children Amber Halchak and husband James, Debbie Saulnier, and Alice Tilton and husband Jesse. He is also survived by his granddaughters Cora, Mia, and Olive. He was predeceased by his parents Adrian and Alice (Fiola) Saulnier as well as his siblings William Saulnier and Joan Saviano. He is survived by his siblings Jean Leslie, Suzanne Thompson, Phyllis Willett, and Jack Saulnier. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews as well as many great friends. His family and friends were the most joyful part of his life.
Phil was passionate about his work, hobbies, and healthy lifestyle. He will be remembered as an exceptionally talented carpenter, musician, and athlete. He loved tending to his organic vegetable garden, playing guitar and harmonica, cooking, baking pies, cycling, and walking the beach with his wife and dog, Sadie.
There will be a celebration of life on Sunday, February 4th from 11am-2pm held at the Westbrook Inn in Derry, NH. Friends and family are welcome to stop in to share memories and enjoy pictures, mementos, and some of Phil’s remarkable work.
