Noubar Charles Kamitian died with peace, love and dignity on December 14th, 2021 at the age of 92.
Known as Dad, Uncle Noubar, Noubie and Charlie, he was everyone's friend. But above all Charlie was a family man. He cared deeply for his wife and daughters as well as his extended family. Charlie was a comedic genius. He would never pass up a good pun. That was his trademark. He was also an avid gardener, a passion he passed on to his daughter Mary. Charlie spent most of his career as a commercial sales manager for Bay State Gas. He won many awards and accolades in sales over the years because of his charisma and personality. He met the love of his life, Ruthie, there and they spent 35 wonderful years married. Upon their retirement they travelled to Aruba yearly where they met many lifelong friends. They also dedicated their lives to the betterment of their daughter Charlene's life by volunteering their time at Kimi Nichols Center and Crotched Mountain, agencies that supported people with developmental disabilities. Charlie's compassion and generosity was felt by so many.
Charlie was predeceased by his wife Ruthie and his daughter Charlene whom he missed terribly every day. He is survived by his daughter Mary, her wife Robyn and sons Joseph and Jared of Melrose, Ma. His nephews, Jerry and his wife Sandy of Barrington, NH, Leo and his wife Sharron of Salem, NH, Peter and his wife Pam of Ashland , Ma, Nieces, Dorothy Andreoli and her husband Michael of Hudson, NH and Mary Lou Southwick and her husband Dick of North Andover, Ma as well as several great nieces and nephews.
