Nicholas Adamovich – Salem, NH
Nicholas Adamovich, 76, died peacefully on Saturday, February 18, 2023 after an 8-year struggle with Alzheimer’s Disease. He was born in Claremont, NH, the son of Kostik and Stephania (Sybulki) Adamovich. After graduating from high school, Nick served 4 years in the US Marine Corps and later graduated from Suffolk University with a degree in accounting. He worked in the computer industry for 15 years before starting a tax practice in Salem, NH and Weymouth, MA. In his younger days he enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and hunting with his dad and many uncles and cousins. He was an avid sports fan, especially of baseball and football. He also enjoyed traveling with family and friends throughout the US, the Caribbean, Latin America and Europe. He loved his country and was a proud military veteran.
Early in 1972 Nick met Martha Perez, an office co-worker who was looking for someone to help with her taxes. They were married that same year and celebrated their 50th anniversary in July, 2022. After their marriage, they settled in Salem, NH and soon adopted the first of many dogs and cats. Nick was devoted to his family and cherished the time spent with his children and close friends.
He leaves behind his wife, Martha, two children, Heather Adamovich of Hillsboro,NH, and David Adamovich and wife Wendy of Melrose, MA, two grandsons, Connor and Ryan, his brother, Peter Adamovich and wife Yvette of Dunbarton, NH, as well as cousins and close friends. He is also survived by his dogs, Ramsey and Bentley and cats, Moe and Mollie.
His family would like to thank the many people who supported Nick throughout his struggle with Alzheimer’s, especially the staff at Silverthorne Adult Day Center in Salem, NH, and Royal Meadow View Memory Care Unit in North Reading, MA.
Services will be private and a celebration of life will be scheduled later in the summer.
