Monica Lynn McIntosh, 49, of Pensacola, FL., passed away peacefully at home after a brief, but
courageous battle with cancer surrounded by her loving family on December 22, 2022.
Monica was born on May 18, 1973 to William and Susan (Tryder) Cyr in Danvers MA.
She grew up in Sandown, NH. and graduated from Timberlane Regional High School. Monica moved to California and Hawaii before settling in Pensacola, FL. She earned her Master of Science in Accounting of which she was very proud. She then began her career in accounting and ultimately achieved her dream of partnership and owning her own firm in September of 2020. Monica thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of her profession.
Her favorite pastime was sitting on the beach, toes in sand, sun on face, listening to the waves and
watching for dolphins. After learning of her diagnosis in August, Monica decided to leave the beach
behind and move to Salem, NH. to be close to family.
Monica leaves behind her loving husband, Daniel Gerencser, and her two sons Robert and Kyle
McIntosh, all of Pensacola, FL. Her surviving family includes her father William Cyr of Durham, NH., her
mother Susan (Tryder) Cyr of Raymond, NH., her sister Jessica Harper and her husband Paul of Raymond NH., nieces Kelsi and Kendra Morasse and Madison Harper. She also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
