Michele Surrette – Plaistow, NH

Michele Surrette, 57, of Plaistow, NH, passed away suddenly on Monday, January 23rd, 2023.

Michele was born March 1st, 1965 in Greenland, NH to Anthony and Estelle (LeBlanc) Surrette.  Michele was an extremely capable person in all facets of life. In 1992, she married Tom and became stepmother to his 3 teenage sons. She was fierce and steadfast enough to guarantee that all three completed not only high school but also college or trade school, ensuring their success as adults. She was beloved at her place of work, TJ Maxx in Woburn, MA, where she will be sorely missed. She enjoyed deep sea fishing, cooking phenomenal dishes that her daughters-in-law could never replicate, but maybe most of all, she enjoyed and excelled at being a Grammy to her “grandbabies.”

Michele was preceded in death by her parents.  She is survived by her husband and best friend of over 30 years, Tom Skinner. Their sons, Casey, and his wife Angela, of New Port Richey, FL; Nicholas, his wife Jennifer, and their children, Ellyza and Maxwell of Stoutsville, OH; and Jared, his wife Jessica, and their children, Owen and Nora of Circleville, OH. Also surviving are Michele’s sisters, Theresa Guay of Belleville, IL and Deborah Rieder of Stratham, NH. As well as several beloved nieces and nephews.

At Michele’s request, there will be no calling hours or a funeral service.
