Mary Boire – Salem, NH

Mary Boire, 81, of Salem, NH, passed away peacefully on Tuesday August 26th, after a period of declining health. She grew up in Lynn, MA, later living in Ohio, Spain, Florida, New Hampshire and West Virginia, before settling in Salem, NH. Mary was a dedicated and successful employee for the USDA for 35 years.

Mary will be remembered as a kind and fun-loving woman who brough joy to those around her. Mary enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. She enjoyed going out to eat, BINGO, casinos and attending the performance arts and most of all spending time with family and friends. Her presence was a gift, and her laughter and love will be deeply missed. Mary’s life was enriched by the strong bonds she shared with those closest to her. They will forever cherish her memory. She leaves behind her daughter Lisa Ferraro and John Ferraro of Abington, MA, her son Scott and wife Kristy Boire of Bondurant, IA, her daughter Suzanne Boire of Salem, NH, her grandchildren Jessica Ferraro, Aiden and Reagan Boire, her sister Sandra Conant and brother Robert McGarvey, both of Topsfield, MA along with many nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her parents, Robert and Eleanor McGarvey.

The wake will be held on Wednesday, September 3rd. Calling hours are from 5:00pm-8:00pm at Goundrey Dewhirst Funeral home, 42 Main Street. Salem, NH 03079. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, September 4th at 11:00AM at St. Joseph Church, 40 Main Street, Salem, NH 03079. Burial will follow the Funeral Mass in Pine Grove Cemetery in Salem, NH
