It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mark Paris, of Hampstead, New Hampshire, who passed away on March 19, 2026 at the age of 60.
Born in Lawrence, Massachusetts on September 15, 1965. Mark was the beloved son of Michele (Morissette) Schofield and the late Keith Paris. He was a graduate of Lawrence Vocational Technical High School, Class of 1983.
Mark built a long and respected career as an automotive mechanic, beginning alongside his father at Paris Auto in Salem NH, then Peabody Auto and Truck Repair. He later expanded his expertise into heavy equipment, working with J&K Construction, Lewis Builders and contributing to moving and lifting operations with Stan’s Granite State Building Movers. Mark was truly a jack of all trades and took great pride in his work. His work ethic was unmatched, and he was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need.
Outside of work, Mark enjoyed many of life’s simple pleasures. He loved NASCAR, boating and fishing on Big Island Pond, and was an avid snowmobile enthusiast. He was known for his big sweet tooth and his even bigger personality. Mark was the life of the party and could always be found on the dance floor.
Mark had an unwavering sense of humor, making everyone laugh with his quick wit and wonderfully unfiltered way of speaking. Above all, he cherished time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren, who lovingly knew him as “Papa”.
He is survived by his loving wife of 16 years, Patti (Muse) Paris; his mother, Michele Schofield her late husband George Schofield, and his stepmother, Joanne Paris-Wildes her husband Stan Wildes.
He also leaves behind his daughters, Kristal Paris her husband Pete Gilmore, Nicole Lefavour her husband Chris Lefavour; his stepdaughters Danielle Gile her husband Conan Gile, and Shéla Lemieux.
He is further survived by his brother, Keith Paris Jr (Kip) his wife Sandra Paris; as well as his sisters, Kimberley Paris her husband David Blamy, Emmy Paris her wife Carrie Heincelman, and Jaime Dow her husband Dana Dow.
Mark was a proud and devoted Papa to Carter, Alvey; Madilynn, Camden; Lincoln, Liana, Conan, Deegan; Gavin, and Tristan. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and a wide circle of great friends.
Mark will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
