Margreta L. (Sheridan) Pizzuto Titone – Methuen, MA
Margreta L. (Sheridan) Pizzuto Titone was born on March 25, 1937 in Lowell, MA. She was the beloved daughter of the late Agnes (Reardon) Sheridan and Nicholas Patrick Sheridan. She graduated from Lowell High School in 1954 where she was voted in as a Girl Officer, which was a huge priviledge. Margreta received her Bachelor’s Degree from D’Youville College in Buffalo, NY, majoring in business and minoring in biology. Graduating in 1958. Margreta worked as a medical secretary for several years in the Boston area. Margreta married Jacob Pizzuto from the North End of Boston. She and Jake had three lovely daughters, Kathleen, Maria and Michelle Pizzuto. They are the loves of her life. She cherished her children very much. She later married Nicholas Titone of Andover, MA.
Margreta loved all types of animals, especially her cats, she passed down that love to her children. She also enjoyed watching a good game of football and was a huge fan of the New England Patriots. She loved music very much, which she also passed down to her children. She would often listen to talk radio and call the station to discuss various topics. She spent many summers at Hampton Beach throughout her life. Margreta loved reading mysteries, crime, and love stories.
Although, Margreta earned her degree, she enjoyed being a mom and homemaker the most. She is survived by her three daughters, Kathleen Doucette, and her husband Mel, of Methuen, Maria Pendergast and her husband Tim of Methuen and Michelle Knapp of Franklin, NH, her six grandchildren, Nathan and Jason Pendergast, Dylan and Devan Doucette, Brandi Knapp Prescott and Carly Knapp, also four great-grandchildren, Brooklyn, Autumn, Jack and Benjamin. Her beloved first cousin, John Shields and his wife of Bridgewater Township, NJ also survive her.
She was predeceased by her sister Judith Ann McIntyre, her only sibling, who just recently passed away in December, of 2023.
Calling hours are Wednesday, May 8, 2024, from 5 -7pm at Goundrey Dewhirst Funeral Home, 42 Main Street, Salem, NH 03079. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, May 9, 2024 at 11:00 am at St. Joseph Church, 40 Main Street, Salem, NH 03079.
