Lucy C. Tessier

Lucy C Tessier (Savini), 91, passed away peacefully on January 28, 2018. 

Lucy was a resident of Salem, NH for the last 27 years after her retirement from the Blair House in Tewksbury, MA, where she worked for many years and took pride in being the best housekeeper they ever had. 

She was the daughter of the late Rocco and Grace (Macaroni) Savini of Somerville, MA. She is proceeded in death by her husband of 49 years Edward L Tessier, and brothers William and his wife Jackie, and Anthony Savini, both of Somerville MA.  Lucy’s surviving family members include her loving children Christine (Tessier) and husband Norman Keith Benson, Jr. of Tewksbury, MA, Steven Rocco Tessier of Clearmont, FL, and Gale Valerie (Tessier) and husband Gary Thomas Liles of Salem, NH, and grandchildren Lisa (Benson) and husband  Nick Leavitte of Hudson, NH, Gary David Liles and his longtime companion Stephane Yelle of Allenstown, NH, Norman Keith Benson III of Tewksbury, MA, and  Eric Michael Liles of Salem, NH, as well as one great-granddaughter Kayla Yelle. She also leaves several nieces and nephews and a sister-in-law Elizabeth (O’Brien) Savini of Cambridge, MA.

Lucy enjoyed being with family and friends and had a way to make anyone around her smile.  She is going to be missed by all.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, February 1, 2018 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at the Goundrey & Dewhirst Funeral Home, 42 Main Street, Salem, NH 03079.
