Lucille Gentile passed suddenly on Dec. 22, 2022. Lucille was born in1938 in Pittsburgh, PA to Michael Aiello and Ann (Kapucinskas) Aiello. As a young girl Lucille attended the private school Mary of the Mount in Mt. Washington ,PA. She played basketball and was involved in the community and church.
She was predeceased by her husband Angelo, her parents Michael and Ann Aiello, her son Michael, brother Anthony Aiello, and her sister Janet (Aiello) Ignatz. She is survived by her two sons Mark and Steven of Salem, NH, five grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
It was at a dance where she met her husband Angelo and shortly after moved to Boston, MA and eventually N. Reading, Ma. Lucille was a loving mother and grandmother and was very involved with her grandchildren by providing rides, attending many school events, and sporting events. She worked for Shaws supermarkets in New Hampshire and Massachusetts for 27 years. She was an avid reader and read many books of which she loved to talk about and share. She loved to decorate her house for the various holidays and seasons. She loved to cook for her family and friends during the holidays and was a loving mother, great conversationalist, role model and will be missed dearly by her family and many friends.
Family and friends are invited to visiting hours on Thursday December 29, 2022 from 9:00 am to 11:00 at the Goundrey Dewhirst Funeral Home, 42 Main Street Salem, NH. A Funeral Mass will be at 11:30 am on Thursday in St. Joseph Church, 40 Main Street, Salem, NH. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, N. Reading, MA.
