Louise Pelletier Obituary

Louise C. ( Ricci ) Pelletier 89, of Salem NH passed away peacefully March 14, 2021 at Portsmouth Regional Hospital with her loving family by her side. 

Mrs Pelletier was born and raised in Methuen, the daughter of the late Carmine and Carmina (LaProva) Ricci.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband Wilfred R. Pelletier,  her daughter Paula Novello and her son Donald Pelletier. She was also predeceased by her six brothers and six sisters.

Louise worked many years, until her retirement, at the Lawrence General Hospital in the dietary department. After her retirement, Louise volunteered her time to work in the food pantry at the church she loved so much, Saint Joseph Church in Salem NH. She also volunteered her services at the Salem Senior Center.

Louise’s family members include her son, Jeffrey Pelletier and his wife, Cheryl Pelletier of Salem, NH; and her daughter, Lisa Tascon of Amesbury, MA. She also leaves behind 8 special grandchildren; Orion Dow, Jamie Duggan, Jake Pelletier, Gallen Novello, Garrick Pelletier, Andrea Mitchell, Christina Robles and Matthew Tascon. She was also blessed with 15 extra special great grandchildren as well as several brothers in-law and sisters--law, many nieces and nephews, and great and great great nieces and nephews.

Her love of God and country was right up there with being a loving wife, mother, grand and great-grandmother and the kissy, huggy aunt to all her nieces and nephews and their children.

Due to the current situation and precautions with Covid 19 gatherings, there will be no calling hours. A Funeral Mass of Christian burial in St. Joseph Church, Salem, NH will be limited to adult family members and Louise’s close friends from St. Joseph Parish. Burial will be in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Lawrence.

Louise devoted much of her time volunteering at the Saints Mary and Joseph Parish Food Pantry so in lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Saints Mary and Joseph Parish Food Pantry, 200 Lawrence Rd, Salem, NH 03079 in her name.
