Lorice M. Brown

With deep love and sorrow, we announce the passing of Lorice Brown, who left us peacefully on June 20, 2025, at the age of 94.

Born on February 3, 1931, in Lawrence, Massachusetts, to Celia Haddad Aberizk and Jaberan Daher Aberizk, Lorice grew up surrounded by strong family values that she carried throughout her life. She was a woman of grace, warmth, and unwavering devotion to those she loved most — especially her grandchildren, who were the joy of her life.

Lorice’s greatest happiness came from being surrounded by the people she cherished. One of her favorite places was her own backyard, relaxing by the pool with her family. Whether watching her grandkids splash and laugh or simply enjoying a sunny afternoon in the company of loved ones, those moments brought her true peace and contentment. She also had a special place in her heart for her dogs, who brought her companionship, comfort, and endless joy over the years.

Lorice was predeceased by her beloved husband, Alan Brown, and her loving parents, Celia and Jaberan Aberizk. She is survived by her devoted sons: Alan Brown, Gary Brown and his wife Karen, and Steven Brown and his wife Tina. She was the proud grandmother of: Amanda Persson and her husband Corey, Jamie Baroni and her husband Luke, Kasey Hickey and her husband Ryan, Kylie Bucher and her husband Kevin, Todd Brown, and John Brawley. She also leaves behind her adored great-grandchildren: Olive, Aria, Zoey, Brynn, Colson, Caoilainn, and Avery.

She is also survived by her brother, David Aberizk and his wife Deborah, and was predeceased by her siblings Julia Abdulla, William, Phillip, Raymond, and Emil Aberizk. Lorice is also lovingly remembered by several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to calling hours on Thursday June 26, 2025 from 3 pm to 7 pm at the Goundrey Dewhirst Funeral Home 42 Main Street Salem, NH. Funeral services will be on Friday June 27 at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Salem, NH.
