Lori (Pearson) Cleary, 63, passed away on Friday, January 10, 2025 after a hard fought battle with cancer. Lori passed away in the comfort of her own home, surrounded by her husband and three children.
Lori was born to Ruth Ann and Ron Pearson on November 15,1961, and was raised in Shrewsbury, MA. Lori and her husband, Larry, wed in 1982, and raised their children in Leicester, MA. They spent summers down by the lake and winters skiing together in Vermont.
Lori balanced motherhood with running her own hairdressing business. She was passionate about her work, and was adored by her customers, many of whom became lifelong friends.
In 2005, Lori and her family moved to San Diego, CA, but eventually returned to New England in 2017. They settled in Salem, NH where they happily spent time with their close friends, relatives, and grandchildren.
Lori will be remembered for her spontaneity, humor, and no-nonsense attitude. She demonstrated unparallelled strength, relentless optimism, and, above all else, unconditional love for her family.
Lori leaves behind her husband, Larry, of Salem, NH; Daughter, Erin, and her husband, Joel, of Chester, NH and their three children, Riggin, Grace, and Fischer; Daughter, Meaghan, and her husband, Devon, of San Carlos, CA and their son, Gunnar; Son, Kevin, of San Diego, CA; and brother, Brian, of Barre, MA.
Family and friends are invited to calling hours on Friday, January 17, 2025 from 1pm to 4 pm at Goundrey Dewhirst Funeral Home 42 Main Street, Salem, NH.
