Kenneth Eterian Obituary

Kenneth Eterian – Windham, NH

Kenneth Eterian, 70, of Windham, NH passed away on September 5, 2026 after a valiant 6-month battle with leukemia. He was the beloved husband of Dr. Lillian Esther (Ornazian) Eterian and devoted father of Isabelle Eterian.

Ken lived a life fueled by faith, hard work, and service to others. An optician by profession, on weekdays, Ken could be found at the helm of his Vision Shoppe on Main Street in Concord, serving a clientele that included prominent professionals and generations of families. On weekends for decades, he could be found at his indoor booth at Festival Flea Market in Salem, helping those who might otherwise have struggled to afford glasses and contact lenses. To Ken, good vision was not a luxury reserved for the well-off. He believed it was something everyone deserved and took pleasure in blessing new neighbors, immigrants, the elderly, working families and people simply trying to make ends meet with the gift of clear sight.

Ken loved sharing stories and laughter with his family, clients, longtime friends and strangers, alike. Most of all, he loved sharing his faith in Jesus. It was beyond something he professed and informed his years of service to the Church community, a summer camp for special-needs youth, the way he lived and how he treated all God’s creation and the many pets he loved dearly. All were expressions of the gentleness, humanity and care with which he approached the World. Ken will be missed by all who knew him.
