Kelly Rota – Salem, NH
Kelly Rota passed away on Wednesday September 3rd, 2025, after a long battle from the side effects from cancer treatment. Born on November 26th, 1974, in Winthrop, MA. Kelly made her home in Salem, NH with her life partner Rick Bell. Kelly owned and operated the Axe Shack in Lowell, MA.
Kelly was an amazing sewer, working with the Rocky Horror Picture show and making Halloween costumes for friends and family. She loved knitting and was an amazing cook.
Kelly is survived by her brother, Brian Rota, sister-in-law Michelle Rota, niece Kaylee and nephew Anthony. Daughter of the late Dennis and Joan Rota, also beloved niece of Barbara Survilas and Edward Survilas of Winthrop, MA.
She will be missed deeply by her large loving family and friends.
There will be a Celebration of Life on Sunday September 14th from 12-4pm at “The Moose - North Reading Lodge 1511” 140 North St, North Reading, MA. Family and friends are welcome to speak and share stories about Kelly Approximability 2PM. Feel free to wear something red, it was her favorite color.
