Kathleen Gagnon Obituary

Kathleen Anne Gagnon, age 70, passed away peacefully January 5th 2020 due to complications from the flu. She was born October 23, 1949 in Methuen, Massachusetts.

Kathy worked and happily retired after decades of service to Raytheon in Andover, MA, but her true passion was growing a giant cat family and showing them off to the world. She was known as the crazy cat lady. This was best shown through her incredible relationship with the Cat Fanciers’ Federation & Northwood Veterinary Hospital. Kathy encompassed them as family as they did the same. She lived her motto of always being kind and helpful to others. Basically instilling the world can always use another kind person. She loved her church family as her own and would do anything for a person in need. She loved spending time in her garden as well as the church garden to make sure that anyone that needed a little extra food had it.

Her life was a living example of her favorite Bible verse, Psalm 23. She was our family’s rock and shepherd and we were never in want. She made us better people trying to be righteous for her namesake. She made her family strong and unwilling to apologize for the lives they lived, which there is no better gift. Her ability to love unconditionally was unmatched. When you look at her family, you see how each person is individually different than the other because she allowed everyone to be themselves without any feeling of judgment. There was never a time that was too difficult because Kathy united our family and made us strong enough to handle anything.

Kathy is predeceased by her father Ernest Robillard Sr. and mother Doris Robillard. She is survived by her loving husband Kenneth R. Gagnon Sr. of Northwood NH; children, Kelly Waitte and her husband Matthew Waitte of Haverhill, MA; Keith Payson of Northwood, NH; Heather Holmes and her husband John Holmes of Londonderry, NH; Kenneth R. Gagnon Jr. and his wife Cheryl Gagnon of Dartmouth, MA; Erik Gagnon and his wife Dawn Gagnon of Buckeye, AZ; Siblings, Patricia Salois and her husband Wayne Perron of Derry, NH; Ernest Robillard Jr. of Derry, NH; Neal Robillard and his wife Charlene of Union, ME; Grandchildren, Dustin Moreault and his wife Sara Moreault of Londonderry, NH; Brianna Moreault of Manchester, NH; Austin Holmes of Londonderry, NH; Ashley Gagnon of Buckeye, AZ; Danielle Gagnon of Buckeye, AZ; Great-Grandchild Liam Moreault of Londonderry, NH; and many other nieces, nephews & cousins.
