Welcome to the memorial page for

Joshua Perry

February 5, 1999 ~ September 22, 2015 (age 16) 16 Years Old

Joshua Perry, 16, left this world on Tuesday September 22, 2015. Joshua was born in Derry, NH and lived most of his life in Salem, NH with his late aunt, Sharon Boutin and her husband, Gary Boutin.  Joshua was predeceased by his mother, Jamie Perry. His family members include his father, Victor Peppard of Exeter, NH and his sisters, Cayli Perry of Manchester, NH, Toni Vallario and Jaiden Perry of Salem, NH and Arianna Young of Hillsboro, NH. He also leaves his brother, Zac Byrne of Epping, NH and his grandmother, Kathleen Stimson of Salem, his great grandmother, Shirley Sackett of Salem, grandfather, Paul Perry and his wife, Ann of Derry, NH as well as his great grandparents, Paul and Pat Perry of Hampstead, NH and his uncle, Michael Perry of Portsmouth, NH and many other aunts, uncles and cousins.

Josh was a student at Salem High School and was known as an outstanding athlete in football and basketball.  He was known for his beautiful smile, gentle soul, his ability to make everyone laugh and feel loved.  An overwhelming number of people attended a candlelight vigil where his loved ones heard more examples of what an incredible human being he really was through the many personal stories shared that evening.  Josh attended Granite United Church Youth Group and had more friends than his family realized.  In addition to his infectious smile and friendly eyes, he had a voracious appetite as reported by all the stories from those who fed him calzones, hamburgers, pizza and other late night snacks for which in return he offered a warm smile and a hearty laugh.

Josh left this world far too soon and will be sadly missed. It’s comforting to know that his memory lives on in so many hearts, and we offer our sincere thanks to all who shared their personal stories of how his life touched theirs.

Family and friends are invited to calling hours on Saturday, October 3, 2015 from 9AM to Noon at Granite United Church, 1 Sand Hill Rd. Salem, NH.  A Celebration of Josh’s life will be at Noon on Saturday at the church.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Granite United Church Youth Group, 1 Sand Hill Road, Salem, NH 03079.
