Josephine A. Tieri

Josephine (Josie) Tieri, 84, of Salem NH, passed away peacefully at Holy Family Hospital in Haverhill, MA on June 20th, 2018.

Josie was born and raised in Malden MA, where she attended school and in later years worked at the Malden Bowladrome.

She was the daughter of Frederico and Anna (Simeone) Russo, and the last surviving sister of her 10 siblings.

She was the spouse of George Tieri, Sr. and the mother of Joanne Tieri-Pagliccia and her husband Jack of Methuen, George Jr. and his wife Teresa of Billerica, and Michael and his wife Kristine of Sandown, NH. Josie was the beloved Grammy to Julie Robbins, Caitlin Lombard, Alexandria, Chelsea, Michael, Tyler, Matthew, Steven Tieri, Jake Flanagan and the late Daniel Morelli. She was also the Great Grammy to Nicholas, Logan, Korri and Gracie. Josie was also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Friends and relatives are invited to gather for graveside services to be held on Friday, June 29th at 11 am in Pine Grove Cemetery, Salem, NH. In Lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to Multiple Sclerosis research or to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
