Joseph James Perrotta – Salem, NH

Joseph James Perrotta age 88 of Salem, NH passed away on November 17, 2021 after a brief illness. Born to the late Alexander Perrotta and Jennie (Petrillo) Perrotta. Devoted and loving husband of the late Barbara A.  (Winjum) Perrotta. Dear and caring father to David A. Perrotta and his wife Bernadine of Raymond, NH; Michael J. Perrotta and his wife Brenda of Chester, VA; Nicolle J. Rizzo and her husband Paul of Salem, NH. Cherished, loving grandfather of 6; Danielle, Kristina, Dean, Kirsten, Trevor and Isabella; great-grandfather of 3; Armani, Joseph and Barbara; Joseph is also survived by his brother Richard Perrotta and his wife Phyllis of Colorado.

Joseph grew up and attended school in Methuen, Massachusetts, attended postsecondary education, married his soulmate Barbara of 62 years, raised his family in Salem, NH, and owned and operated businesses in New Hampshire. He lived his life to the fullest, was a man of conviction, leadership and generosity towards his family and friends while filling all of our hearts with love.

Visiting Hours will be from 4:00-7:00 PM on Friday, December 3, 2021 in the Goundrey & Dewhirst Funeral Home, 42 Main St., Salem, NH. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 10:00 AM, at Saint Joseph's Church, 40 Main Street, Salem, NH. Masks are required. A Burial in Bellevue Cemetery in Lawrence, MA will follow the Funeral Mass.
