Joan M. Gray

Joan M. Gray. 81 of Hampstead, NH passed away on Saturday May 25, 2024 after a brief illness.

Joan was born to Dr. Raymond and Mary Szostak of Lawrence. After completing high school, she went on to study teaching at Salem State College where she received her Masters in Education.  She worked with the Salem, NH School District for 41 years as a fourth-grade teacher at Soule School. Joan was an avid skier and boater spending her free time and summers in the Lakes Region. When home, she loved to sew and garden.

Joan is survived by her daughter Stacey Jackson and her husband Charles Jackson of Exeter, NH., her granddaughters Rachel and Julie Jackson as well as cousins, nieces, a nephew and extended friends.
