Obituary

Jeremiah W. Silva (“Miah”) passed away on Friday, April 23, 2021. Jeremiah is survived by his parents, Fabiene C. Silva and Ivan M. Silva, his twin sister Jade Torres and her husband Quincy Torres, his brothers Jesse J. Silva and Ivan J. Silva, and his sister Jasmine M. Silva, and his grandmothers Janice Pelletier and Miriam Priest. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, the lights of his life, Josiah J. Silva, Ivan M. Silva, Alexandra (Lexie) J. Torres, Savannah J. Santiago, Elena G. Torres, Sophia Ryan, and Quinn C. Torres, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by his oldest brother, Joshua J. Silva, and his grandfathers Washington Silva and Joseph Pelletier.

Jeremiah was born in Lawrence on February 5, 1988 one minute after his twin sister Jade, who liked to always remind him that she is older. He loved being outdoors in nature and you could find him in the summer camping or tubing down the Saco River. He enjoyed fishing and anything to do with reptiles. His love of animals came second only to his love for his family, especially his nieces and nephews. They were his greatest joy and they loved spending time with their Uncle Payah.

In the last 6 months, he spent time living in Naples, FL and Myrtle Beach, SC. He was the happiest he had been and was enjoying his time with people who meant a lot to him. His last few months were filled with trips to the beach, happy times with his family and friends. The memories he made were so special to him. His big stature was nothing compared to the size of his heart. He was always willing to help anyone who needed it and made such an impact in the lives of so many.  He was the light of our life and we will miss him forever.
