Jeannette M. (Mignault) Deveau-Doerr – Windham, NH

Jeannette M. (Mignault) Deveau-Doerr age 95 of Salem, NH passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at Windham Terrace Assisted Living in Windham, NH.   She was born on November 22, 1925 in Lawrence, MA the daughter of the late, Adelard and Elizabeth (Paradise) Mignault.  She was raised and educated in Lawrence, MA and had attended St. Anne’s School.

She had worked in the shoe industry for many years prior to attending and graduating from McIntosh Business School.  Jeannette worked for Fiore Depot Motors in Lawrence as an automotive accounting secretary.  She also worked as a secretary and accountant for Frank Coppola Dentistry and also for Orthodontist, Dr. Morin in Worcester, MA. She also worked part time for Buderus Bosh in Londonderry, NH until she retired.

Upon retiring she and her husband moved to Atkinson, NH.  She enjoyed challenging crossword and jigsaw puzzles as well as crocheting.

Jeannette was predeceased by her husbands, Richard R. Deveau in 1960 and Henry R. Doerr in 1997.  She is survived by her son, Fr. Daniel R. Deveau of Groveton, NH and her daughter, Susan M.A. Sallies of Salem, NH, her granddaughters, Christy DeMallie and husband, Peter of Jamison, PA and Stephanie Borovicka and husband, Christopher of Londonderry, NH.  Five great-grandchildren also survive her.  She was also predeceased by her siblings, brothers, Bro. Gerard Mignault, F.M.S. and Roland Mignault and sisters, Claire Martin, Rita Crouch and Doris Mignault.

Calling hours are Sunday, November 21, 2021 from 6-8 PM at Goundrey & Dewhirst Funeral Home, 42 Main Street, Salem, NH 03079.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, November 22, 2021 at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Church, 40 Main Street, Salem, NH 03079.  Burial will follow the Funeral Mass in Atkinson Cemetery in Atkinson, NH.  In-lieu of flowers, donations are requested to: Sts.
