Janis M. Conlan, 60, of Salem, NH passed away on Saturday December 7, 2019 at the High Pointe Hospice House in Haverhill, MA after a brief battle with cancer.
Janis was a Salem resident. Born in Wareham, MA, she was raised in Somerville where she met her soulmate and husband. Before retiring in New Hampshire, Janis, with her husband and 3 children, traveled the world with the Navy for 20 years and created many wonderful memories. She is survived by her husband Jeffrey L. Conlan, her son Michael R. Conlan and his wife Amanda M. Conlan, and her 7 grandchildren Joseph Conlan (18), Patrick Conlan (16), Laurel Ann Conlan (15), Thomas Conlan (14), Anthony Conlan (14), Anna Conlan (11), and Jessica Conlan (10). Janis also leaves her brother Barry Munroe and she was predeceased by her son Jeffrey L. Conlan, II, her daughter Kristen M. Conlan and her brother Robert Munroe.
Family and friends are invited to an hour of visitation on Friday December 20, 2019 from 9:30 am to 10:30 am at the Goundrey & Dewhirst Funeral Home, 42 Main Street, Salem, NH. A Funeral Mass will follow the visitation at 11:00 am on Friday in St. Joseph Church, 40 Main Street, Salem, NH.
