Jacqueline L. Burke

Jacqueline L. Burke, 74 of Hudson, NH and Venice, Florida passed away on Thursday May 13, 2021 at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center, Nashua, NH.  Mrs. Burke was born and raised in Lawrence. She was a graduate of Presentation of Mary Academy, Methuen and received her Associate Degree in Accounting from Franklin Pierce College. For several years, Jackie worked with her mother at La Petite Beauty Salon in Lawrence. For 29 years and before her retirement in 2010, she worked as a buyer at Textron Defense Systems (the former Avco Corp) of Wilmington

Jackie and her husband enjoyed retirement years in Florida and traveling. She, especially, loved trips to Jamaica. Jackie loved being with people, enjoying friends and family and loved entertaining.

Her family members include her husband of 52 years Michael W. Burke of Hudson, NH and her son Dana A. Burke and his wife Tina Burke of Hudson. Jackie also leaves her 3 grandsons Brody, Dylan and Landon all of Hudson. She has one sister Valerie Lynch and her husband David of Cape Neddick, ME as well as several aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews. Jackie was predeceased by her parents Edward and Leah (Mailloux) Tremblay and her brother Edward Tremblay, Jr and her sister Leah Curtis.

Family and friends are invited to visiting hours on Friday May 21, 2021 from 4 pm to 8 pm at the Goundrey & Dewhirst Funeral Home, 42 Main St., Salem, NH. A Funeral Mass will be on Saturday May 22 at 10:00 am in St. Matthew Church, 2 Searles Road, Windham, NH. (Family and guests are asked to meet directly at the church} Memorial contributions in her grandson Dylan’s honor may be made to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
