In Loving Memory of Gustav A. Moeller
December 24, 1935 – December 23, 2024
Gustav A. Moeller, of Salem, NH, passed away peacefully at his home with his family by his side, on December 23, 2024. He was born in New Hyde Park, New York, on December 24, 1935. He liked to travel and lived and worked in many places including Germany, Iceland, Greenland, and Florida.
Gus was forever dedicated to his family, a proud husband, father, grandfather (Opa), brother, neighbor, and friend to many. He is survived by his wife Alma, children Daniel, Karen and Roger, brother William, daughters-in-law Shelley and Jennifer, grandchildren Mallory, Jake, Hallie, Lukas and Madelynn.
He genuinely enjoyed being around people and was always eager to lend a hand. Those who knew him frequently said “he could fix anything”.
Gus was an accomplished mechanic in the US Army, and he loved to tell stories of his time in the service.
Every summer since 1979 Gus could be found at his home on Lake Winnipesaukee, a place he truly treasured.
Gus will forever be in our hearts and deeply missed by all who knew him.
