Gisele Pelletier - Salem, New Hampshire
Gisele Marie Cecile Pelletier, 76, of Salem, NH, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 12, 2025. She was born on August 7, 1949, in Plessisville, Québec, Canada, to the late Benoit and Marie Belanger.
At age 15, Gisele immigrated to the United States with her family, settling in Massachusetts in 1964. A few years after arriving, she met her future husband, Laureat Pelletier—her brother Lucien’s best friend. They married on May 3, 1969, and built a life centered on family, faith, and hard work. Together they raised three sons—Sylvain, Richard, and Larry—and a daughter, Lisa. Gisele was also a devoted grandmother to Ryan, Jack, Izzy, and Will.
Gisele was known for her tireless devotion to her family. She worked hard to ensure her children had every opportunity, emphasizing education and the importance of perseverance. She and Laureat shared a deep faith, attending church regularly and singing in the choir together, drawing strength and joy from their beliefs.
At home, Gisele’s hands were rarely still. Family and friends will always picture her in her favorite chair knitting slippers or crocheting potholders, lovingly creating gifts for Christmas and special occasions. She found happiness in simple acts of giving and caring for those she loved.
Gisele was heartbroken by Laureat’s passing in July 2024 after 55 years of marriage, but she remained steadfast in her love for her children and grandchildren. Her legacy of kindness, strength, and dedication lives on in all who knew her.
She was predeceased by her parents, her beloved husband Laureat, and her son Larry. She is survived by her children Sylvain (Tim), Richard (Regina), and Lisa; grandchildren Ryan, Jack, Izzy, and Will; and her siblings Lucien, Nicole, Diane, Rejean, Cecile, and Raymond, their spouces and many nieces and nephews.
