Geraldine C. Toop

Geraldine C. Toop of Londonderry, NH died on February 14, 2021 at Greystone Farm at Salem Assisted Living in Salem, NH at the age of 88.  She was married to Oliver W. Toop who preceded her in death after 49 years of marriage.  She is survived by her son Randall Deane Toop of Londonderry, NH and daughters Pamela T. Gordon, of Williamston, MI and Sandra L. Blood of Pasadena, MD.  She was a loving Nana to her grandchildren Rhiannon Malboeuf, Sarah Bedard, Jennifer and Melissa Blood, Kyle and Cory Gordon.  She is also survived by her sisters Thelma Gregoire and Sylvia Reed of West Rumney, NH, Norma Avery of Albuquerque, NM, her brother-in-law Joseph Reed of West Rumney, NH, and  four great-grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews.

She was the daughter of Deane and Muriel Carr and grew up in West Rumney, NH.  She graduated from Plymouth High School in 1951 and continued her education at the New England Baptist School of Nursing.  Her nursing career spanned over 34 years, and given that love of nursing never stopped being a medical resource to others.  When not working, Gerry enjoyed gardening, the beaches of Cape Cod, and the mountains of New Hampshire and was always ready to go on a cruise.
