George F. Havey, III

George F. Havey, III, 71 of Hampstead, NH passed away peacefully on Monday September 21, 2026 with his family by his side.

Mr. Havey was born in Methuen and was raised and educated in Lawrence. He moved to Hampstead in 1982. George worked as a mechanic for Sam Kalil and Sons Merrimack Marine in Methuen for several years and retired from Main Street Mobil in Andover in 2018. George was an auto mechanic “whisperer” and could fix just about anything on a car.

George loved hunting, fishing and boating. He was always there to lend a helping hand to family and friends, especially, fellow valley people.

His family members include his beloved wife of 44 years Barbara J. (Burnham) Havey of Hampstead, NH, His daughter Amy M. Parkas and her husband Paul of Dix Hill, NY and his twin sons Daniel R Havey and his former wife Kelly of Danville, NH and Donald A. Sigillo and his former wife Becky of Danville, NH. George leaves 3 grandchildren Ryan Sigillo, Alexandria Havey and Delaney Sigillo. He is also survived by his 2 sisters Celia I. Atkinson and her husband Steven Tatarunis of Methuen and Cheryl A. Torres and her husband Jim of Methuen as well as his brother Michael  J. Havey, Sr. of Methuen. George also leaves 2 sisters-in-law Priscilla Pickles and Pamela Fisher and her husband Ken. As well as several aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews and many longtime friends.

George was predeceased by his parents George F. Havey, Jr. and Eileen (Kalil) Havey and his Father-in-law and Mother-in-law Robert and Margaret (Gordon) Burnham and his Brother-in-law John Pickles.
