Frank J. Cioffi - Salem, NH

Frank J. Cioffi, 89, of East Boston, passed away peacefully on October 25th, surrounded by his loving wife and son.

A graduate of East Boston High School, Frank dedicated over 25 years to the MBTA, demonstrating his commitment and work ethic. He met his beloved wife, Betty L. Cioffi, in 1962 at a dance, and they enjoyed 63 remarkable years of marriage. Together, they traveled and created beautiful memories, showcasing the depth of their bond. Betty has been an incredible caregiver for over 15 years as Frank bravely faced Alzheimer's.

Frank was a devoted father to Steven M. Cioffi and his wife, Fran, both of Derry, NH, and he cherished his grandson, also of Derry, NH Michael A. Cioffi, deeply. He was predeceased by his mother, Antonina (Lanza) Cioffi; his father, Joseph Cioffi; and his sister, Theresa Vecchione, all of whom shaped his life.

We express our heartfelt thanks to Tony (Buster) Romano, a steadfast friend who provided unwavering support. Our gratitude also extends to the compassionate team at Silverthorne Adult Day, who offered care and kindness in Frank's final years.

Frank will be remembered for his passion for baseball, both on and off the field, and for his love of music and dancing. In his later years, he discovered joy in coloring, which brightened his days and added purpose to his life.

We invite you to celebrate his legacy at his graveside service on Thursday, October 30, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Pine Grove Cemetery in Salem, NH. Please meet the family at the cemetery.
