Florence M. LeBlanc – Salem, NH

Florence M. LeBlanc age 95 of Salem, NH passed away on Wednesday, May 13th at Salem Haven Nursing Home in Salem, NH.  She was born in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada on October 19, 1924 the daughter of the late, Jean Leander and Sadie Surette.  She was the youngest of 11 children  and she came to the United States in the early 1950s. She settled in Brighton, Massachusetts and worked as a school cafeteria lunch lady for many years.  Florence loved camping, bowling, birdwatching and just sitting by the fire at camp with her family and friends.  She loved her sweets!  Upon retiring she settled in New Hampshire.  She was predeceased by her husband of over 30 years, Paul LeBlanc in 1984.  She is survived by 3 children: Lesley Cavanaugh and her husband, John Cavanaugh of Walpole, Massachusetts, Kevin LeBlanc and his wife, Barbara LeBlanc of Brighton, Massachusetts and Jacqueline White and her husband, Louis White of Salem, NH.  Florence is also survived by 5 grandchildren: Courtney, Justin, Ashley, Hailey and Lui.  4 great-grandchildren; Keegan, Isabella, Blake and Shaylee also survive her.
