Florence M. (Daneau) Jones 81 of Salem, NH passed away on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at Parkland Medical Center, Derry, NH.

Mrs. Jones was born in Lawrence, MA the daughter of Arsene Joseph Daneau & Eileen

(Wells) Daneau. Florence lived in Methuen, MA most of her life, before moving to Salem, NH.

Before retirement, Florence worked at Malden Mills in Methuen, MA. She enjoyed camping with her extended family and spent many years camping at Pine Acres Family campground.

Florence was an avid BINGO player at the Derry/Salem Elks as well as in the Ackerman

Retirement Park.

Her family members include her sister, Theresa Spates of Hampstead, NH, her son, Frederick J. Jones, Jr. of Salem, NH. Several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces & nephews also survive her. She was predeceased by her husband, Frederick, and her daughters, Laurie J. Jones & Cynthia Moreau.

There are no calling hours. Burial in Elmwood Cemetery in Methuen, MA will be private.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Shriners Hospital for Children.
