Eleanor Ann (Ouimette) Page – Salem, NH

Eleanor Ann Page, 89, died peacefully Monday, September 16th, 2024, at Cedar View Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center located in Methuen, MA.
Eleanor was born August 13th, 1935, in Danvers, MA to the late Daniel and Malena Ouimette.
In 1953 she graduated from Holton High School, Danvers, MA.
Eleanor married Merton W. Page in 1957. They celebrated 57 wonderful years together before Merton’s passing in 2014.
Eleanor worked at Hot Watts in Danvers, MA early in her marriage, was a homemaker for the years she raised her children and retired from McDonald’s located in Salem, NH.
Eleanor was an avid reader and enjoyed her time at the local library. She enjoyed bowling with her siblings, vacationing in Northern NH with her husband and family, an avid Red Sox fan (never missed a game on TV), crossword puzzles especially Suduko.
Eleanor and Merton were blessed with six children. Joanne (Harvey) Levasseur of Hinsdale, NH, Steven of Salen, NH, Shirley (Tim, deceased) Jesmer of Derry, NH, Michael (Jill) of Beverly, MA, William (Mary Ellen) of Elizabethtown, PA, Susan (Wayne) Picard of Billings, MT.
Eleanor was also blessed with 15 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents Daniel and Malena, sisters Flora, Rita and Dorothy and brothers Donald and Wallace.
Eleanor will be especially remembered as a kind and loving mother, woman of faith and friend to all.
Everyone that knew her feel truly blessed to have had her in their lives. We will miss you very much. You have given all of us wonderful memories to cherish for life.
Visitation will be Thursday, September 19, 2024 from 10 – 11 AM at Goundrey Dewhirst Funeral Home, 42 Main Street, Salem, NH 03079. A funeral service will follow the visitation, at the funeral home at 11 AM. Burial will follow the service in Pine Grove Cemetery in Salem, NH.
