Edward Roland "Eddie" Carignan
January 24, 1960 - November 30, 2025
It is with a heavy heart we announce the passing of Edward “Eddie” Carignan, 65, after
a courageous battle with cancer. He was a lifelong resident of Salem, NH, and was
immensely proud to live out his life in the house he built with his late father. He was the
son of Arthur and Marion (Santos) Carignan. He was a devoted husband, father,
pepere’, brother, son, nephew, uncle, cousin, and friend to everyone he met. While we
can never fully capture the impact Ed made on those around him we can honor his life
and the memories made.
Ed is survived by his wife of 47 yrs Robin (Boyer) Carignan; his two loving children
whom he took great pride in, Sara (Carignan) Fantasia and Pete Carignan; beloved
grandchildren Harlin, Natalia, and Benjamin along with his mother-in-law Nancy Boyer.
He also leaves behind an enormous family which includes his siblings Arthur Carignan,
Andrew and his wife Donna Carignan, Jane Carignan, Karen and her husband Anthony
Massahos, Susan Carignan, Ann-Marie Brown, Terry and her husband Paul LaPointe.
As well as his in laws, Jerry and his wife Angie Boyer Jr, Brian and his wife Teresa
Boyer, Ricky Boyer and Valmont Boyer. Along with all his cousins, nieces, and nephews
whom he loved.
Ed never met a stranger he was friends to many and he had the biggest heart. He was
fiercely loyal to his family and friends and would help anyone in need no matter what the
circumstances. He loved watching the Bruins with his son and also watching the
Patriots and going to Rush concerts with his best friend Scott Anderson. He was a jack
of all trades and worked at Triad Associates, Haverhill, MA, for over 30 years where he
made lifelong friends.
Ed is predeceased by his parents Arthur and Marion (Santos) Carignan, father in-law
Jerry Boyer Sr. and sister-in-laws Patricia Carignan, Kristen Boyer, and Michelle (Hart)
Boyer. There will be a celebration of his life in the Summer 2026.
