Donna M. Eksoozian

It is with a heavy heart we announce the sudden passing of Donna Marie (Fennell) Eksoozian of Salem, New Hampshire. 

Born October 12, 1962 in Cambridge, Massachusetts, she was the second of three children to William D. Fennell, Sr. and Marilyn J. (Stacey) Fennell. Donna attended Salem Public Schools until graduating in 1980. She went on to receive her BS in Business Administration at Plymouth State College (PSU) in 1984 and her MBA at New Hampshire College (SNHU) in 1996. She went on to have a successful 40-year career in car insurance claims and arbitration. 

An outgoing and big-hearted person, Donna was a devoted mother, wife, and daughter. She spent much of her time with her friends and family, especially her beloved daughter Lauryn. She was also a proud cat mom to her fur babies, Tora and Thor. Since 1979, Donna has been practicing Uechi-Ryu karate at Buzz Durkin’s Karate School, and last September received her seventh degree black belt. In her life, Donna loved so many and so many loved her. There is no way to express how much she will be missed. 

Donna is preceded in death by her mother Marilyn J. (Stacey) Fennell of Salem, NH. She is survived by her husband David C. Eksoozian of Salem, NH, her daughter Lauryn E. Eksoozian of Derry, NH, and her father William D. Fennell, Sr. of Salem, NH. She is also survived by her brothers William D. Fennell, Jr. of Hampstead, NH and Steven M. Fennell of Raymond, NH along with his wife Patricia and children Kevin and Allison. 

Family and friends are invited to visiting hours on Friday, August 23, 2024 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at the Goundrey  Dewhirst Funeral Home at 42 Main Street, Salem, NH. A funeral mass will follow at 11:30 am on Friday at Mary Queen of Peace Church at 200 Lawrence Road, Salem, NH. A mercy meal in Donna’s honor will be announced. In lieu of flowers, we ask for donations in Donna's memory be made to Happy Tails Pet Rescue in Hudson, NH.
