Dennis LaBrecque – Salem, NH

Dennis LaBrecque 84, of Salem, NH passed away with his family by his side Thursday August 22, 2024, at Holy Family Hospital after complications from COVID.  Dennis was born in Lawrence, MA the son of the late Edward J. LaBrecque and late Mary Jane (Marquis) LaBrecque.  He graduated from Lawrence, MA High School.  He worked for many years as a computer technician and then as a security guard at Rockingham Park.

He is survived by his wife, Mary-Frances LaBrecque; his daughter Kelly LaBrecque of Salem; NH; his son, Keith LaBrecque and his wife Christine of Salem, NH; his granddaughters Sophie and Lucy LaBrecque; his sisters Carol Donovan, Lois Stott and Barbara Allen; and many nieces and nephews. 

He was predeceased by his sister Janet Johnson and his brother Teddy LaBrecque.

Dennis loved sports, especially skiing.  He coached Pop Warner football and little league for many years and loved running into his former players around town.  He was always practicing baseball and softball with his son and daughter.

He had many close friends from his skiing days that provided amazing memories throughout the years, along with his very close friend Frank Roberts.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Goundrey Dewhirst Funeral Home, 42 Main Street, Salem, NH 03079.
