David Connors Obituary

David M. Connors – Salem, NH

David M. Connors, age 74, of Salem, NH, passed away peacefully at his residence on Tuesday, November 11, 2025.

Born on September 30, 1951, in Lawrence, Massachusetts, David was the son of George W. and Margaret (Milne) Connors. He was raised in Andover, where he attended public schools, played sports throughout his youth, and formed many lifelong friendships. He graduated from Greater Lawrence Regional Technical High School in 1971.

During his high school years, David worked as a lifeguard at Pomp’s Pond in Andover—an early reflection of his love for athletics and the outdoors. After graduation, he proudly served in the United States Army from 1971 until his Honorable Discharge in 1973.

Following his military service, David earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Northeastern University. He then returned to his high school alma mater, where he spent his entire career teaching Physical Education. David was deeply devoted to the “Reggie” community, serving not only as a teacher but also as a coach and long-time Athletic Trainer. He was also a familiar face throughout the region as a referee for various local sports.

David cherished time by the ocean and spent many years at Salisbury Beach, later making his home in Hampton, NH. His love of the beach remained a constant and joyful part of his life.

A man of strong character, David was deeply devoted to his family and friends. He especially treasured family gatherings, where he was happiest surrounded by the people he loved.

David is survived by his twin brother, William; his younger brother, Kevin, and Kevin’s wife, Marylouise, and their children, Emily and Gillian. He also leaves his sister-in-law, Rebecca Connors; his nephew, Barry Connors, and Barry’s wife, Melanie, of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and their children, Quinn, Ryan, and Hadley; his niece, Stephanie Mini of Andover, and her children, Rebecca, Rachel, Jacob, and Leah; and his nephew, Justin Connors.

He was predeceased by his parents and by his brothers, George and Barry Connors.
