Claudette Pinet, 76, of Fort Myers, Florida, passed away on September 9, 2021. She was born Claudette Lavoie on April 25, 1945, in St. Rose, Ville Degelis, Quebec. Claudette was the consummate jack of all trades (cooking, sewing, crocheting, hair styling, carpentry and remodeling to name just a few). If it was broken, Claudette could fix it. Her greatest joy was loving and caring for her family, especially her beloved Nanou.
Claudette and Gerald met one morning when she was picking up Gerald's mother, Rose, to give her a ride to work at one of the many shoe factories she worked at. As Claudette was waiting for Rose, Gerald came into the room, glanced at a calendar hanging on a nearby wall and said "Oh yeah, it's my birthday today"! Little did he know that the greatest gift he was about to receive was her undying love!
Claudette leaves behind her husband, the love of her life, Gerald Pinet, her two daughters, Joanne and her husband Steve Beauchesne, Nancy and her husband Tate Marshall, her two grandchildren Hayden Marshall and his fiance Belquis, Madison Marshall and her fiance Jake, 2 sisters, Mariette and her husband Laurier Pelletier, Nicky and her husband Laval Beauregard, a very special niece and Goddaughter Suzan Beauregard and her husband Peter Watson, several brothers and sisters-in-law, many nieces and nephews, as well as countless cherished friends.
Claudette was predeceased by her mother and father, Lucille and Gilbert Lavoie, as well as her brothers Pierre Leo, Claude and Jean Paul Lavoie.
