Carol Ann McElroy (Clarke) Jones

Carol Ann McElroy Jones – Salem, NH

Age 77 of Salem passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Tuesday December 8, 2020 at Graystone Farms in Salem.  She was born on May 1, 1943 in Lawrence, MA the daughter of the late, Walter L. and Hilda (Reeves) Clarke.  She was raised and educated in Salem, NH and graduated from Woodbury High School Class of 1961.

Carol was predeceased by her spouses, John R. McElroy and Joseph David Jones.  She is survived by her daughters, Carolyn A. McElroy and Jacqueline G. McElroy Blaine and husband, Eric, her sister, Linda Clarke, her grandchildren, Raymond J. McElroy, Carol R. Wiater, Robert Schneider, Bridgette Blaine and Lillian Schneider, her great-grandchildren, Madisyn McElroy and Jack McElroy.  She was also predeceased by her son, John R. McElroy on January 7, 2020 and her grandson, Hayden Schneider.

Calling hours are Saturday December 12, 2020 from 10 AM – 12:30 PM at Goundrey & Dewhirst Funeral Home, 42 Main Street, Salem, NH 03079.  A Funeral Service will follow the calling hours at the funeral home at 12:30 PM.  Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.  Donations are requested to either of the following:  St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, www.stjude.org or Toys for Tots, www.toysfortots.org .  Please visit www.goundreydewhirstfuneral.com for directions or to sign the online guest book.
